  2. Japanese conglomerate Sega Sammy Holdings is reportedly close to acquiring Rovio Entertainment, the company behind the “Angry Birds” mobile game, for approximately US$1 billion. 3. HoYoverse’s new game, Honkai: Star Rail, has topped Apple’s App Store download charts since its April 26 launch. The game garnered over 30 million pre-download reservations and is now available worldwide in beta mode. HoYoverse is also incorporating AI tools to enhance the gaming experience.
  4. Amanotes, the music publisher famous for Magic Tiles 3, has joined Butterfly Ventures in backing Reactional Music’s pre-series A funding round.
