Strong domestic and overseas revenue growth together with the acquisitions of NativeX and Game Analytics help 2016 revenues approach $300 million.
May 15, 2017 (China / Guangzhou) – Mobvista, Asia’s leading mobile ad tech company, has announced that 2016 was its strongest year to date. According to its latest financial report, Mobvista’s 2016 revenues reached $296 million, representing an increase of 155% over 2015.
After a year of significant growth around the globe, by the end of 2016, over 60% of Mobvista’s revenues came from clients based outside of China. Revenues in the United States increased nine-fold, while revenues from South Korea increased five-fold. In addition to this substantial increase of revenues, Mobvista’s total assets also increased in value in 2016 — tripling from $86 million to $254 million.
As competition in both domestic and international markets continues to increase, Mobvista’s financial performance positions the company as China’s most successful mobile ad tech business.

In September 2016, Mobvista launched Mintegral, a powerful native and video ad mediation platform. In just three months, Mintegral’s reach grew from 180 to 250 million DAU (daily active users), with partnerships being built with over 1,000 apps including top names such as Camera360, 360 Security and SHAREit.
Over the past year, the Chinese mobile advertising market has become more crowded, with fierce competition. There are increasing numbers of companies entering the space, while leading giants such as Baidu, Alibaba and Tencent continue to expand. At a time when the growth of new smartphone users is slowing and the cost of user acquisition is on the rise, Mobvista sustained its strong performance. The credit in part goes to its overseas investments in 2016 – the acquisitions of US-based NativeX and Europe-based GameAnalytics.
In addition to an equity of $78 million raised in 2016, in February 2017, Mobvista’s liquidity position was further strengthened by a $98 million credit line granted by Bank of China to support its future expansions.
